Winter Rebuilds
The off-season is the perfect time to freshen up your Jr. Dragster motor, carbs and clutches — and at Nic Woods Racing, we’re not just rebuilding… we’re upgrading every engine that comes through the shop.
Every rebuild now includes: (when possible)
- “Line-to-Line” piston skirt coating for reduced friction & longer life
- 2 & 3 ring piston retrofit for improved performance & reliability
- ARC ~new~ HD connecting rod for maximum strength under pressure

Nic uses his dyno for testing, research and development, and to produce high horsepower Jr. Dragster Engines. Nic offers public dyno time where he can provide you with a dyno sheet reading torque, horsepower, exhaust gas temperature, and cylinder head temperature. Regardless of the engine manufacturer, Nic can do a dyno pull. The information provided by the dyno is a key component in creating a winning motor. The data Nic can give you from a half of a day on the dyno, would take you months of testing on the race track. Give Nic a call to schedule some dyno time.
Flow Bench Testing
The flow bench is a key tool in developing some of the most consistent and competive bracket and outlaw motors on the market. You can be rest assured that each complete engine Nic assembles will be tested on the flow bench.

Engine Rebuilding
